EBRD Supports Aluflexpack Group With 20 Million Euro Loan

Another significant investment is focused on packaging producers in areas with high levels of unemployment

The European Bank for Rebuilding and Development (EBRD) will support Croatian packaging producers united in the Aluflexpack Group with a 20 million Euro loan. The EBRD will be at the disposal of the Aluflexpack Novi, Omial Novi and TOF.

“These companies are situated in Croatian regions with high levels of unemployment and weak industrial base. The new EBRD loan will finance new production plants leading to increased capacity and development of new innovative and technologically complex products with high demand in local and foreign markets,” a statement said.

The EBRD in Croatia has been an active partner as an investor since the country’s independence and has so far invested 3.5 billion Euro in 186 projects. Its strategic plan until 2018 has three priorities – stronger economic resilience, facing global challenges and support for regional integration.
