June the 6th, 2023 – Ericsson Nikola Tesla has contracted new jobs worth a massive 3.1 million euros in total.

As Josipa Ban/Poslovni Dnevnik writes, the Croatian company Ericsson Nikola Tesla has signed a series of new contracts worth 3.1 million euros, according to a statement released by this well known domestic technology company.

Government institutions choose Ericsson Nikola Tesla

Specifically speaking, they have listed four large projects on which they will work, and their clients are the Ministry of Tourism and Sport, the Ministry of Justice and Administration, and the Central State Office for the Development of the Digital Society. Despite stating the total sum, Ericsson Nikola Tesla hasn’t stated the individual value of each contract.

“Cooperation has been contracted with the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Croatia within the framework of the Croatian Digital Tourism – eTourism project. By developing and implementing mobile applications and the central portal, the public sector will be enabled to plan, implement and monitor tourist policies more efficiently, while other stakeholders will be provided with faster, better quality and simpler operations”, according to Ericsson Nikola Tesla’s statement on the matter.

Namely, this project had its final results were presented back at the beginning of this year, it cost 5.2 million euros and was co-financed with European Union money. The Ministry of Tourism and Sport then announced its continuation, i.e. further digitisation of Croatian tourism.

Land register/Cadastre arrangement

For the Ministry of Justice and Administration and the State Geodetic Administration, Ericsson Nikola Tesla will continue work on the modernisation of the cadastre and land registry information system. In particular, they will work on upgrades, maintenance and new measurements. It wouldn’t be at all out out of place to mention that the state started the project of arranging land registers and cadastres way back in 2003. Make of that what you will.

In addition, Ericsson Nikola Tesla contracted another job with the Ministry of Justice and Administration, as part of which it will upgrade and maintain the Unified Information System for monitoring the implementation of the Law on General Administrative Procedure, as well as upgrade and maintain the quality management system in public administration.

The Central State Office for the Development of The Digital Society

With the Central State Office for the Development of the Digital Society, they are continuing the consolidation of the health information infrastructure system.
