Former Croatian Olympic Centre Finally Getting New Owners?

Total Croatia News

Could it be a case of “fifth time lucky”?

Former restaurant and auxiliary buildings located by Sabljaci lake within the former Croatian Olympic Centre on Bjelolasica could finally get a new owner. Croatian Olympic Centre has been abandoned since the devastating fire in 2013, and if the court and bankruptcy commissioner accept the offer made by Air-Albatros from Krk, this once popular winter destination could slowly be on its way to recovery.

As stated by the bankruptcy commissioner Tomislav Đuričin, Air-Albatros was the only company that applied and paid a 70 000 kn guarantee in the fifth tender round that has been ongoing for all objects of the former Croatian Olympic Centre since bankruptcy proceedings were opened in April 2014.

Đuričin also confirmed that they received an offer for the administrative building in Ogulin while there were no offers or interested parties for the remaining objects including the hotel in Begovo Razdoblje and the ski centre.

Decision on received offers is expected by the end of September.
