This summer, Jadrolinija purchased two catamarans from Tankerska plovidba for a 13.42 million euro price tag. They had previously been rented from the same company for a short period of just three months for a price of 480,000 euros.
The vessels in question are the Puntamika catamarans, which took over the Rijeka – Rab – Novalja line, and the Kolovare, which sails along the Mali Lošinj – Ilovik – Susak – Unije – Martinšćica – Cres – Rijeka route. Those particular vessels, much like the ones currently in demand today, are made of alluminum, have a capacity of 317 passengers, and were built in 2018 and 2019 respectively at the Cahaya Samudra shipyard in distant Indonesia.
