The company is expanding to the European Union, Middle East and Southeast Asia.
JGL, a Rijeka-based pharmaceutical company, has signed agreements for distribution of their products in Spain, as well as in the countries of the Middle East and Southeast Asia. It has also signed a memorandum of cooperation with a renowned South Korean company, reports liderpess.hr on May 30, 2016.
The agreement with the Spanish partner is related to the sales of the eye-drops named Vizol S, which will be licensed on the Spanish market under the partner company’s brand; the launch has been planned for the last quarter of 2016.
In the meantime, during last month’s visit to the countries of the ASEAN region, the representatives of JGL signed a memorandum of cooperation with Jeil Pharmaceutical, which represents a good foundation for the future marketing of the company’s brands and the B2B model of cooperation between these two firms.
“The South Korean pharmaceutical market is worth about 20 billion dollars, and JGL has been recognized as the EU based company with big capabilities in the area of technology platforms for sterile solutions. Besides Jeil Pharmaceutical, we are also talking to six other companies about possible two-way cooperation that would involve projects that include joint development and the transfer of knowledge”, said Dunja Siuc Valković, director of the global management of JGL’s business development.
JGL has recently signed new contracts in order to launch its Aqua Maris brand on the Vietnamese market, as well as in Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines and Taiwan. The cooperation has also started on the Middle Eastern markets and in the region of the North Africa. The collaboration on these markets involves nasal sprays and ophthalmological products.
In addition, the company has just started exporting its products to the United Arab Emirates. Finally, JGL’s brands will soon begin to sell on the Saudi Arabian market, in Iraq and in some other countries in the region of the Persian Gulf.
