Rimac on US Tour with New C_Two Model

Total Croatia News

The venue for this weekend is the prestigious Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.

As with the previous model, Croatian electric car entrepreneur Mate Rimac is increasingly active in America, so this summer he has launched a tour with his new model, reports Index.hr on August 17, 2018.

He is currently on the US west coast where he will be visiting the Monterey car week in late August. But his latest model, C_Two, can already be seen this weekend at the prestigious Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.

Not only will Rimac’s car be in a company of automotive legends from numerous private collections, but it will be exhibited at the Petersen’s Grand Concourse, a kind of museum lobby, according to information published on the official museum website.

Pointing out the incredible power of the vehicle and its autonomous driving systems, the museum informs all those interested that this is a unique opportunity to see a car whose production is limited to 150 units. According to an earlier statement by the management of Rimac Automobili, the entire production series has already been sold out.

An additional reason for all those interested to visit the museum is the fact that the presentation will feature a blue model of the car for the first time. At the Geneva car show, a gray C_Two was shown, which also features on the official photographs.

The 1,914-hp high-performance electric car has drawn considerable interest with its announced characteristics, especially with the acceleration to 100 kph in 1.97 seconds and the maximum speed of 412 kph. The car has the autonomy of 650 kilometres, which is a combination of features which nobody in the auto industry has ever dared to offer at any price.

Speaking of price, C_Two has been sold out despite its price tag being almost two million euro.
