E-Runner racing car will take part in a race in Buzet in Istria.
Croatian entrepreneur Mate Rimac has announced on social networks that the legend of the Pikes Peak race, the E-Runner racing car with almost 1,500 horse powers, will this weekend take part in one of the most popular car races in Croatia, reports Index.hr on September 14, 2016.
The race in Buzet is a spectacular event which marks the end of the season of the European Hill Climb Championship and is regularly one of the most popular races in the racing calendar in Croatia. This year, the race will feature the E-Runner racing car, which brought attention to Rimac Automobili at the legendary Pikes Peak race.
This concept car, driven by famous Japanese driver Nobuhiro Monster Tajima, has an electric engine with about 1,475 horse powers, and can accelerate to 100 kilometres per hour in just 2.2 seconds and to 200 kilometres per hour in just 5.4 seconds. That is a good indicator of the spectacle which will be on offer at Buzet this weekend.
At this year’s Pikes Peak race, Rimac’s E-Runner took third place among electric racing cars, and fifth position in the overall competition.
