As Poslovni Dnevnik/Darko Bicak writes on the 15th of September, 2020, the Croatian IT industry reports daily on its global successes, and the latest example is the Croatian company Neos, which is among the top six FinOps Certified Providers in the world.
FinOps methodology brings a shift in understanding costs in the cloud and making informed business decisions and thus increases the business value of the cloud. Companies that use FinOps guidelines and best practices can achieve the best value for every dollar spent in the cloud. As Neos explained, FinOps Certified Service Provider (FCSP) is a pre-qualified line of proven service providers with deep experience in helping companies successfully adopt cloud financial management practices.
As an FCSP partner, Neos offers FinOps support, consulting, professional services and education for the journey through cloud financial management for companies. The FinOps Association consists of nearly 2,000 individual members from around the world, representing more than 1,200 companies. Neos is a Croatian IT company engaged in cloud solutions, advanced analytics and application development for global companies.
This August, they became part of the FinOps Association to support and promote the discipline of cloud financial management through best practices, education and standards. As Davorin Capan, the company’s director, explained, Neos was founded back in 2002 by three partners: Mario Mrljic, Davorin Capan and Drazen Markovic.
“Today, Neos is certainly one of the leading IT companies in Croatia and the wider region. This is supported by our long-term efforts and projects with large clients from the financial and telecommunications sector, investments in knowledge and expertise in the field of Oracle technologies, as well as innovation and solutions that we develop at Neos,” pointed out Capan, adding that today, they are primarily oriented toward the Croatian market and the region, with several large foreign projects, and the largest number of clients come from the finance, energy and telecommunications sectors.
”The coronavirus crisis primarily affected the internal processes of the company’s adaptation to the new conditions. Despite the slowdown in the market, we concluded all of our planned deals and found additional time for further progress and development. Neos is still, as it has been throughout the last few months, looking for new quality staff,” concluded the director of Neos, Davorin Capan.
