The video features world-famous Croatian athletes, musicians and actors.
The Croatian National Tourist Board’s “Ambassador of Croatian Tourism” promotional video, which premiered in November last year as part of the presentation at the WTM tourism fair in London, and which has been viewed millions of times in foreign markets, has been nominated by the Travel Video Awards in the subcategory “Best Video by a Tourism Organization,” announced the Croatian National Tourist Board on March 20, 2018.
The other videos nominated in the same category are “Rhythms of Peru” (Kuoda Travel), “Sabrosura” (Visit Columbia) and “North America” (Jordan Tourism Board).
“We are proud that our latest promotional video, featuring globally recognisable Croatian stars and ambassadors of Croatian tourism, has been nominated for this prestigious prize. This nomination brought us professional satisfaction but is also a proof of our creativity and innovativeness. It is the confirmation by the experts that the Croatian National Tourist Board, together with our partners, can create exceptional and internationally recognised promotional content for the Croatian tourism,” said the head of the Croatian National Tourist Board’s Main Office Kristjan Staničić.
The video features footballers Luka Modrić, Mario Mandžukić, Ivan Rakitić, Mateo Kovačić and Dejan Lovren, tennis player Marin Čilić, basketball player Dario Šarić, musicians Maksim Mrvica and 2Cellos, actress Zrinka Cvitešić and others.

The Travel Video Awards is an organisation founded by independent filmmakers and brands from all over the world which rewards innovative and inspirational videos. The awards are presented in two main categories, namely the Independent Track category (for independent authors), divided into four sub-categories, and in the category of works created by the tourism industry (Industry Track), which is further divided into five subcategories.
The online voting is open until Saturday, 31 March, via this link, and the award ceremony will be held on 9 April 2018 in Las Vegas.
