By signing all the necessary paperwork, the second phase of the reconstruction of Klenovica Port is ready to start.
The second phase of reconstruction of the Klenovica port near Novi Vinodolski is in progress, reports Morski.hr on October 1, 2017. A brand new breakwater will be built, and the existing coast will be upgraded and reinforced.
The Minister of Sea, Transport and Infrastructure Oleg Butković will sign the joint financing of the second phase of the reconstruction of the Klenovica port on Monday, October 2 in Klenovica, together with the county prefect of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Zlatko Komadina and the Director of the County Port Authority of Novi Vinodolski Velimir Antić.
By signing the Agreement on joint financing of the second phase of the reconstruction of Klenovica port open for public transport and of great local importance, 16 million kunas will be provided for the construction of a completely new secondary breakwater which will be 56 meters long and 8 meters wide, as well as for the expansion of the existing operational coast near the secondary breakwater.
After the signing of the Agreement as the basis for financing the project, the director of the Novi Vinodolski County Port Authority will also sign the Contract on construction work with the contractor representative – the consortium of GP Krk and Sun Adria.
