Tax Debtors Who Received State Aid for April Wages Owe State HRK 106.3 mn

ZAGREB, July 30, 2020 – Tax debtors who received state aid for salaries for April for 557 employees due to the COVID-19 lockdown owe the state HRK 106.3 million, the Fininfo financial website said on Thursday.

An analysis identified 28 employers to whom the state paid aid for April’s pay in the total amount of HRK 2.24 million and who, at the time, were on the tax debtors list.

Fininfo analysed 98,535 employers that received HRK 2.2 billion in state aid for the wages of 558,724 employees.
