More international success from Croatia’s emerging start-up scene.
Zagreb, Croatia – 28 May 2018: This week, the Top Digital Agency team celebrated victory at the Spark.me Startup Competition in Budva, Montenegro. Spark.me is the most carefully curated technology/business conference in the Southeastern European region (The Balkans). The Spark.me competition prize is an all expenses paid trip and opportunity to attend TechCrunch Disrupt 2018 San Francisco, the most prestigious startup conference in the world.
The Top Digital Agency team representing the company at Spark.me were Goran Deak (CEO of TDA), Scott Coleman (COO & Presenter), and Domagoj Hruskar (Operations Manager at TDA). The entire Top Digital Agency team, despite not all being at the conference, were supportive on social media and in spirit.
The competition consisted of two rounds of pitches, each followed by intense questions from the judges. TDA COO Scott Coleman impressed the judges with the team’s vision of world where agencies can build the businesses regardless of size, location or network. Of the competition, Scott says. “It was an honor to pitch alongside such a strong group of companies from the region. I really enjoyed meeting so many inspiring entrepreneurs and learning about their journeys. We’re grateful to the Spark.me team for the opportunity and can’t wait to come back to this beautiful country.”
Regarding their experience at Spark.me, TDA CEO Goran Deak could barely contain his excitement, back in the office. He only wished to make it known that, “This was my first time visiting Montenegro and wow, it blew me away. Beautiful country with warm people. The Spark.me conference was the peak of my experience. The speakers and the organization were world class and I can’t wait to be back next year.”
