Uber unveils new service in the Capital – UberSelect a more spacious and comfortable ride at the push of a button. The first one to try the new service was Niko Goga a 25 year old student, one of the top Uber riders in Croatia. Riders will be able to order UberSELECT starting Friday 2nd November.
Uber continues to expand its services in Croatia. An official press release on teh introduction of a new serice, UberSELECT in Zagreb:
Friday, November 2, 2016 – Starting today, Uber is offering the same safe, reliable and affordable rides but with an extra comfort and quality, thanks to the launch of UberSELECT. With the new service, riders in Zagreb will be able to push a button and demand a ride with more spacious, newer cars and some of best rated Uber partner-drivers.
Currently people in Zagreb have only been able to ride with uberX, Uber’s ridesharing alternative to get around their city. With the launch of UberSELECT, riders will now also be able to choose from a range of higher end cars, such as VW Passat, BMW 5, Audi A4 or Škoda Octavia.
“We want to provide this community with more choice. People in Zagreb love our services and we’re proud to be bringing yet another alternative to them. There has been huge and growing demand for Uber since we launched in Croatia a little over a year ago. Also, we have received overwhelmingly feedback that citizens of Zagreb also want an enhanced riding experience. As a consumer centric service, we always adapt our services to our users’ needs” said Davor Tremac, general manager for Uber in Southeast Europe.
To celebrate the launch of the new service in Zagreb, Uber invited one of the top riders to be the first one to try the service. Niko Goga, a 27 year old freelance photographer, has been using uberX for over an year
“I use Uber frequently in my daily life because my work as a freelance photographer requires many last minute decisions and traveling around the city at various times of the day. Uber offers me the flexibility I need and a payment transparency that works for me. I have to say that the new service UberSELECT is great. Spacious cars enable me to carry all the standard photography equipment I normally carry with me at a very affordable price” said Niko Goga, the very first to try UberSELECT in Croatia.
