ZAGREB, February 27, 2018 – The Viktor Lenac shipyard generated a total of 514 million kuna in revenue in 2017, 70% more than the year before, and also had a significantly higher net profits on the year, the company reported on Tuesday.
The company’s unaudited consolidated financial statements note a net profit after tax of 36.8 million kuna, compared to 1.5 million kuna in 2016.
The company conducted significant value adjustments in 2017 and disposed of property considered to carry risks.
By the end of December, available cash funds increased by 22.1 million kuna and the company recorded a balance of 31.9 million kuna, the report says.
The affiliate company Viktor Servisi posted a loss of 150,000 kuna and the recently founded VL Steel company posted a loss of 133,000 kuna.
