March the 13th, 2026 – Croatia Airlines has introduced a direct Dubrovnik-Stuttgart route which will operate twice per week as of this May.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, Croatia Airlines and the Tourist Boards of the City of Dubrovnik and Dubrovnik-Neretva County officially presented the new Dubrovnik-Stuttgart route in that German city this week.
Croatia’s most recognisable tourist destination, typically referred to as the Pearl of the Adriatic, will be connected by direct flights to the very centre of the German state of Baden-Württemberg for the first time ever. The new Croatia Airlines Dubrovnik-Stuttgart route will be introduced in the company’s summer 2026 flight schedule and will be available on Mondays and Fridays from May the 4th to October the 23rd, 2026.
Marija Pavić, Sales Manager at Croatia Airlines, emphasised at the presentation that by introducing the direct Dubrovnik – Stuttgart route, Croatia’s connection with one of its most important source markets is being strengthened even more.
“Traditionally speaking, Germany is one of the leading markets for Croatian tourism, and we’re sure that this new route will enable passengers from Baden-Württemberg to arrive in Dubrovnik and to the wider Dubrovnik-Neretva County area in an even easier and quicker way.
At the same time, we’re opening up new travel options to Germany for passengers from Croatia, and in addition to its tourist and economic significance, this route is also particularly important for the numerous Croats who live and work in Stuttgart and the surrounding area. These new flights will provide them with better connections with their country of origin. On top of the existing routes from Dubrovnik to Munich and Frankfurt, this brand new route to Stuttgart will further strengthen the connection of southern Croatia with key European markets.”
In addition to the German cities of Stuttgart, Munich and Frankfurt, Croatia Airlines also directly links Dubrovnik Airport with Athens, Paris, Prague, Rome, Zurich, Osijek and Zagreb.
This presentation was also attended by the Consul General of the Republic of Croatia in Stuttgart, Ivan Sablić, who further emphasised the importance of this air connection for the development of tourism and the economy.
