December the 15th, 2024 – Three Croatian campsites have been ranked as being among the best in Europe by ADAC readers, as the overall camping sector continues to develop.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, this latest recognition is the seventh consecutive ADAC Superplatz for the Aminess Maravea Camping Resort and the sixth consecutive for the Aminess Sirena Campsite. The group’s newest campsite, Aminess Avalona Camping Resort 5* on the island of Pag, has also made the list for the first time.
Although it opened in the middle of this year, Aminess’s premium campsite located in the village of Povljana on Pag has already won numerous awards. In November alone, it won three important awards from the public and the profession.
The first was the INOVA award from the Croatian Camping Association (KUH), in the category “Innovative luxury campsite concept”. The second is the Naj kamp Adria award from the Slovenian web portal Avtokampi.si, in the category “Best mobile home resort”. The final recognition of the quality of this campsite came in the form of winning the prestigious “Camp of the Year” award at this year’s Days of Croatian Tourism (Dani hrvatskog turizma).
This latest ranking of three Croatian campsites is excellent for this entire segment of tourism, and the ADAC Superplatz award is the highest recognition of all. It is awarded to campsites that have achieved excellence according to the following criteria: the equipment of sanitary facilities, the area and equipment of individual pitches as well as the entire campsite.
The shopping and gastronomic offer, entertainment facilities, and swimming pools and beaches within the campsite in question are also evaluated. With the concept of luxury camping taking hold among many Croatian campsites, the Aminess camp is one of the pioneers redefining evolving industry standards. It also represents the perfect combination of enjoyment and fun as Croatian campsites continue redefining themselves.
