March the 30th, 2025 – Multiple Croatian counties (Dubrovnik-Neretva, Split, Zadar and Lika-Senj counties) as well as the City of Zagreb have been being presented to crowds at the B-Travel fair in Barcelona.
As Dubrovacki vjesnik writes, the Dubrovnik-Neretva County Tourist Board has been participating in the world renowned B-Travel fair in Barcelona again this year. The fair has been taking place between the 28th to the 30th March of 2025, and numerous other Croatian counties and destinations have also been put on display.
The Dubrovnik-Neretva County Tourist Board is participating in cooperation with the tourist boards of Split-Dalmatia, Zadar and Lika-Senj counties, as well as the Tourist Board of the City of Zagreb. The joint stand, measuring 24 m², is located in the part of the fair dedicated to cultural tourism – B-Culture.
B-Travel is otherwise the largest tourist fair in Spain, intended for a wide audience. Over 25,000 visitors are expected to have been counted over the two days of the fair, to whom around 120 exhibitors from over 35 countries around the world will have presented themselves on a total of 7,150 m² of exhibition space. Numerous travel agencies, hotel companies, cruise companies, transport operators and tourist boards from all over the world have been participating.
The fair has been divided into seven thematic sections: B-Happy, B-Industrial, B-Special, B-Culture, B-Adventure, B-Delicious and B-Proud. The Croatian counties, as well as Zagreb, have undoubtedly attracted plenty of attention, especially given the fact that the European Best Destinations portal recently named Croatia the best country to visit in Europe in 2025.
The interest of Spanish tourists in Croatia continues to grow. Back in 2024, 68,784 tourists from Spain visited Dubrovnik-Neretva County, which represents a growth of 16% compared to 2023. 172,249 overnight stays were also realised, representative of a 14% increase compared to 2023.
