Croatian Crew Saves 37 Immigrants

Croatian Navy vessel “Andrija Mohorović” joins the EU humanitarian mission.

“Andrija Mohorović” Croatian Navy vessel currently taking part in the EU humanitarian mission “Triton” in the Mediterranean Sea, saved 37 immigrants on Sunday. Medical check ups and registration procedures are currently taking place after which all immigrants will be transported to Sicily.

Vessel with 49 members of the Armed forces and 5 members of the Border police will support their Italian colleagues until the end of October in securing maritime borders and saving refugees.
