When it comes to entrance into non EU countries without a visa, Croatia is at the bottom of the list.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 10th of January, 2018, German passport holders take first place among EU passport holders as German nationals can visit an impressive 177 countries without the need for a visa.
The Germans are closely followed by Singapore passport holders, who are of course from outside of the European Union, Singaporean passport holders can visit 176 countries across the world visa-free.
The Croatian passport is the lowest in the European Union when it comes to the number of countries that its holders can travel to without the need for a visa.
According to the Henley & Partners index, the Croatian passport comes in at 21st place in the world, with the possibility of visa-free travel to 155 countries.
As mentioned, first place is taken by Germany (177 countries) followed by Singapore (176), while France, Italy, Japan, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Great Britain and Finland (175 countries) share third place collectively.
Just in front of Croatia are Bulgaria and Romania, who jointly share 20th place. At the 104th place, or the very last place, is Afghanistan, (24 countries).
At the beginning of last year, Croatia was at 24th place on the same index, as visa-free travel for Croatian passport holders was available in 149 countries, visa restrictions have been dropped to Croatian passport holders over the past several months in numerous countries, bringing the country to 21st place.
