March the 6th, 2026 – The Croatian platform Komba is making employment easier and more transparent by linking job seekers and employers in an innovative way.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, during a time dominated by increasingly pronounced labour shortages and changing business needs, a Croatian platform named Komba is currently being developed on the Croatian market. It transparently connects employers with available workers in real time, and it has expansion plans.
Since the launch of the new platform, over 10,000 users and over 250 business clients have been registered. Among them are well known companies like AWT International, Wolt Market, Quehenberger, Foreo, Rox, Sinsay, Reserved, Mohito, Vivas Bar, Mlinar and more.
The new Croatian platform Komba allows employers to announce the availability of a shift, define an hourly rate and find someone willing to work in just a few steps. This approach is especially useful in industries with pronounced demand fluctuations, such as catering, hospitality, retail, logistics, and the hotel and event industry.
This relaxed and more innovative model is based on the flexible engagement of workers. Employers determine their working conditions and pay only for the actual hours worked, while having a full overview of all of the costs and engagement through the Komba app. The company’s overarching goal is to further simplify administrative processes and enable more transparent, flexible employment.
Through the aforementioned mobile application, employers can post their specific needs for workers and the jobs in question from any location, while users can view and accept job offers in real time if it suits them.
This platform therefore brings together various profiles of workers, including students, people looking for additional income, the unemployed, and qualified professionals who can also find permanent employment through the platform. This allows companies to quickly adapt to seasonal peaks in work, sick leave, or other unplanned situations.
In addition to occasional engagements, Komba also offers employers the opportunity to enjoy the long-term rental of workers and mediation in the employment of foreign workers. Through partner agencies, employers have access to workers from Central and South America, the Philippines, Ukraine, and Croatia’s more immediate but non-EEA region. It is all carried out with standardised conditions and through an organised recruitment process.
The company plans to further expand its user base and service availability throughout Croatia, with the aim of developing digital solutions that facilitate the connection of employers and workers.
