January the 8th, 2024 – Further synergy has now been created for the Croatian private healthcare sector following Futura Medical’s most recent acquisition.

As Ana Roksandic/Poslovni Dnevnik writes, Futura Medical Group has now added the Sabol Children’s Clinic to its portfolio. This well-known paediatric polyclinic has been operating for more than thirty years now, and brings together local experts from 14 specialised disciplines of paediatric healthcare.

Through this new acquisition, Futura Medical Group (FMG) has become a healthcare group totalling more than 50 specialists from 16 different specialisations in polyclinics spanning five locations. More than 100 thousand patients of all ages are cared for within this wider Croatian private healthcare network.

“The Sabol Polyclinic is synonymous with trust and quality care for our youngest patients, as well as investment in our own employees and their lifelong education. FMG recognised Sabol Polyclinic as a logical partner with whom it shares equal values. With this step forward, we’re going to provide the youngest of our patients and their parents with personalised access and a superior treatment experience through all of our polyclinics,” said Ognjen Bagatin, the director of Futura Partners and Sinteza Polyclinic.

The founder of Polyclinic Sabol and neuropaediatrician Zlatko Sabol noted that this polyclinic is one of the pioneers of Croatian private healthcare, and can boast of the scientific research project SENDD, which uses artificial intelligence to help in the early detection of neurodevelopmental deviations in infants. The leaders of the SENDD project were specialist paediatrician and neuropaediatrician Goran Krakar, while from the IT side, there was Tomislav Strgar from the TIS Group.

“I’m extremely proud that we’ve found a partner who thinks in the same progressive way as we do within FMG. Our results and attitude towards our patients have certainly influenced the perception of Croatian private healthcare, which is accepted as excellent and invaluable for the patient, their families and the wider domestic healthcare sector,” said Sabol.

Sabol remains present as a member of the polyclinic, and Dr. Goran Krakar remains as director. Futura Medical Group is otherwise owned by Futura Partners and is managed by Ognjen Bagatin and Bojan Pintarić.

“Through the synergy of polyclinics from different branches of medicine, we’ll enable our employees to exchange knowledge better and provide more comprehensive healthcare services,” said Bojan Pintarić.

Within the group, in addition to the Sabol Polyclinic, the Sinteza Polyclinic from Zagreb with two locations, the Sinteza Physical Medicine Polyclinic from Split, the Sinteza Skin Clinic, Bagatin Beauty and the Markušić Polyclinic also operate. Futura Partners is otherwise a project of entrepreneurs and businessmen who invest in small and medium-sized enterprises with great export potential.
