December the 10th, 2024 – The Croatian Tourist Board (HTZ) has been using holographic technology to promote the country as part of its early booking campaign.

As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, as part of its early booking campaign, the Croatian Tourist Board (HTZ) is implementing 3D hyperGram activations at four locations in Europe. Using this new holographic technology to present Croatia in an extremely innovative way and with floating motifs, without screens or glass, they hope to get early bookers interested.

The first such action as part of the Croatian Tourist Board’s early booking campaign was at the main train station in Zurich and two heavily frequented locations in London. The next one will be in Munich, from December the 17th to the 19th.

“Modern tourists are always on the look out for new experiences, while at the same time digitalisation sets high standards that we actively monitor and implement in our promotional activities. 3D hyperGram activations show off Croatia’s tourist assets in some of our most important markets, such as Great Britain and Switzerland, followed by Germany, where the trend of booking holidays earlier is returning,” explained Croatian Tourist Board Director Kristjan Staničić.

As this form of advertising is being carried out during the festive season, it’s expected that more than 840,000 passers-by will see the 3D models of this promotion every day, at all four locations.

The name of the ongoing early booking campaign is “Croatia is just a booking away”. The Croatian Tourist Board is working to encourage the early booking of holidays and trips to Croatia in 2025 on the markets of Germany, Austria, the UK, the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland.
