NY City “40 Under 40” Croatian Music Event and Fundraiser to Support Bishop Franjo Komarica

The National Federation of Croatian Americans Cultural Foundation (NFCA) is proud to announce that on Sunday, the 1st of October, 2017, a very special Croatian music event and fundraiser will be held at 12:30 to benefit the Banja Luka Catholic Diocese. The location is at the Sts. Cyril and Methodius and St. Raphael Croatian Catholic Church at 502 West 41st Street, New York, New York.

The featured guest speaker will be 2004 Nobel Peace Prize Nominee, His Excellency: The Most Reverend Dr. Franjo Komarica, Bishop of Banja Luka. Bishop Komarica will also say mass at 11:00 that morning at this Manhattan church.

This music event will also feature Croatian Kolo, Acapella, Tamburitzan Groups organised by Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge 789 Member, John Skibola and he promises a wonderful program of Croatian music and dance with artists from the Tri-State area. Fourteen winners of the first ever NFCA “40 under 40” program will be honored at this special event. Also, “40 Under 40” Honoree Teresa Scanlan, Miss America 2011 will be another featured guest performer.

All proceeds will benefit the Banja Luka Catholic Diocese. All reservations are required by Monday the 25th of September. The cost is $50 per adult and $25 for 21 and under (12 years old and under go free) a lunch will be served after the program and this included in the price.
