February the 22nd, 2024 – Ryanair has opened up the skies and the rest of Europe for Croatian travellers who don’t want to pay a lot, and they’ve seen yet another opportunity after Wizz Air suddenly axed their Dubrovnik-London route.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, Ryanair has started with its special tariffs of a mere 24.99 euros for Croatian passengers affected by the sudden cancellation of Wizz Air’s Dubrovnik-London route.
This latest route cut follows the sudden cancellation of more than 80 Wizz Air routes across Europe in the past six weeks, including routes from Albania, Austria, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Serbia and Slovenia.
While Wizz Air continues to cancel routes across Europe, the insanely popular Ryanair – reputed to be one of the cheapest airlines in Europe – has swooped in once again with low prices from just 24.99 euros on fourteen weekly flights between Dubrovnik and London available for booking.
“While Wizz Air continues to downsize, cancelling routes and removing aircraft across Europe, Ryanair is once again saving the day with fares of just €24.99 which are available to Wizz Air passengers affected by this sudden cancellation of the Dubrovnik-London route,” said Ryanair’s spokeswoman Jade Kirwan.
