October the 9th, 2024 – The Dubrovnik Ukraine summit scheduled to take place today has seen police ask the city’s residents not to use their cars as traffic chaos is likely.

Because of that, the Dubrovnik-Neretva Police Administration in cooperation with the Police Directorate will implement special security measures for the Pearl of the Adriatic’s road system.

“We’d like to inform people that on Wednesday, October the 9th, there will be temporary traffic jams occurring along the roads from Ruđer Bošković Airport all the way to the hotel hosting the foreign delegations that will attend the aforementioned gathering, as well as in the area of ​​the historic city core itself.

The police will take care that the traffic flows as smoothly as possible with as few jams and waits as possible. The police will also do their best to ensure that there is as little impact as possible on the development of other activities and events going on within the city.
