April the 28th, 2025 – The legendary Grand Hotel 4 Opatijska Cvijeta in gorgeous Opatija has swung open its doors yet again following extensive renovation.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, magical Opatija will be enriched by yet another treasure on its luxurious Riviera in mid-May. This glamorous seaside town dominated by beautiful Austro-Hungarian architecture is known as Croatia’s “First Lady of Tourism”, and despite the rest of the coast having caught up long ago, few places can hold a candle to its unique charm.
Amadria Park Grand Hotel 4 Opatijska Cvijeta has now officially returned to the Kvarner tourist scene after a thorough renovation that promises to raise the bar of luxury to a whole new level. The extensive and carefully designed transformation of this cult hotel brings a fresh, contemporary approach to breaks spent there, with an emphasis placed primarily on well-being, gastronomy, relaxation and entertainment in a refined seaside setting.
Boasting 209 rooms and 13 suites, including penthouse units on the 6th and 7th floors overlooking the vast Kvarner Bay, Grand Hotel 4 Opatijska Cvijeta packs a punch following its renovation. The entire renovation of the interior and exterior was carried out in collaboration with renowned architectural offices and follows the philosophy of sustainable design, respecting the authenticity of Opatija’s landscape.
Wellness lovers will find their refuge in the completely renovated spa centre spanning an impressive 3,700 m² across two floors – making it one of the largest in the entire region. Indoor and outdoor pools (a family pool and a spectacular infinity pool with a sea view), five different saunas, VIP zones, treatment rooms and spacious relax lounge sections make it stand out among the rest.
The gastronomic experience has also had attention paid to it as part of the Grand Hotel 4 Opatijska Cvijeta renovation. Complemented by a renovated restaurant with a spacious terrace right on the coastline, guests will be able to enjoy à la carte service with an emphasis on fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. There is also an elegant lobby bar, an ideal place to relax and enjoy carefully selected cocktails from the hotel’s varied offer in a refined atmosphere.
The hotel’s position – right next to the coastline and the Lungomare promenade, and within walking distance of the Opatija Congress Centre and prestigious conference halls – makes it an ideal address for business guests.
This extensive renovation project bears the signature of renowned names. Architects from the Sangrad+AVP studio are responsible for the new architectural solution, while the interior design comes from the prestigious HBA studio in collaboration with the Ugo Group d.o.o. team of architects. The latter were also the main contractors of this project, along with their expert team.
