Traditional September wine feast and renown Jaska area manifestation will be held from Septemebr 8 to 11. Tourist Board of Jastrebarsko town director Ivana Herceg introduced the importance of the Jaska Wine Festivities, as well as the event programme, while Jaska wine maker Franjo Kolarić said: “Jaska Wine Festivities are quite important to promote Jaska wine making and wine growing, hardworking craftsmen as well as tourism and economic potential recognised not only in Croatia but at an international level.”
All visitors at the Jaska fairgrounds will enjoy a cheerful atmosphere with a rich gastronomy offer, including presentations and tastings of best wines from renown Jaska wine makers.
The Craftsmen Tourism Exhibition will also be opened, announced by Jastrebarsko Craftsmen Association President Stipe Bučar: “Visitors will be able to buy souvenirs and taste homemade culinary and eco products from hardworking Jaska producers and family farms. In addition, we are organising a humanitarian action “Craftsmen for craftsmen.” Pastry makers will create four strudel types to be distributed to visitors, while gathered contributions will be donated to a craftsman who is unable to work due to his illness.
Entertainment will be provided by the Gazde band, with a rich cultural programme throughout the four days, with performances by Dražen Zečić and Danijela Martinović on Saturday, while Jasmin Stavros and Barabe will close the vent on Sunday.
Jastrebarsko Mayor announced the Jaska Harvest taking place on September 19, organised by the Croatian Town Association and Jastrebarsko Town, in which mayors and their spouses will participate, with all the proceeds going for scholarships to 10 best wine growing students in Croatia.
All in all, plenty of reasons to visit Jaska.
