First Plodine, now Lesnina. Pula is set to be home to Lesnina’s biggest centre in the country.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 24th of January, 2018, all types of furniture will be on offer, and all of it will be displayed in the large Lesnina centre.
The construction of Lesnina’s brand new centre near Stancija Peličeti in Pula is practically finished, its construction began in May last year.
Lesnina puchased almost four hectares of land between the towns of Pula and Vodnjan, for 1.33 million euro, or about ten million kuna, and as Lesnina’s marketing and sales director Matija Mandić told Glas Istre recently, the Pula-Vodnjan centre will open its doors to customers in April this year, so many Pula and other Istria locals will no longer have to make the journey to Rijeka, Zagreb or Villesse (Gorizia, Italy) when furnishing their homes.
Lesnina’s investment in Pula, an establishment of 22,000 square meters and the 12,000 square-meter sales center, is worth a massive 20 million euro. At the very beginning of construction, Lesnina announced that this was “just the first stage” of their large investment in this location, and in the second phase they intend to build a facility for the Momax brand.
Mandić stated that as far as the beginning of the second phase and the construction of the Momax facility is concerned, there are no accurate terms and they aren’t yet in a position to provide any relevant information. On the other hand, what is generally expected has been revealed, and the new center will offer everything the new Lesnina centre will, plus a little more.
Aside from the ease and practicality of all types of furniture for the entire home being displayed in one single location, as a novelty in Croatia, Lesnina will open its first restaurant, already well known to XXXLutz’s customers in Austria, as well as Lesnina shoppers in neighbouring Slovenia, revealed Mandić.
In Pula’s new Lesnina centre, 130 employees will find work, and as has been revealed from Lesnina, around 80 other associates in assembly, delivery, cleaning and other support services will also gain employment with the company.
