The mobile app sets new standards in the management of small tourist facilities.
Rentlio, a mobile version of the application allows all the owners of rentals an advanced management system for their accommodation capacities. The mobile app was presented this month, while Rentlio web app has been on the market since March of last year. The application helps in the automation of business activities of smaller tourist facilities, and it has customers in eight European countries, reports Poslovni.hr on July 2, 2016.
According to Marko Mišulić, director and founder of Rentlio, the introduction of the app’s mobile version sets new standards in the management of tourist facilities. “We have made it possible for our customers to manage on the go the reservations, prices, as well as arrivals and departures of guests. By automating business processes we are trying to facilitate the owners’ daily operations as much as possible so that they can focus on the quality of services in their buildings and apartments”, explained Marko Mišulić.
When it comes to eVisitor, the guest registration system created by the Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ), Rentlio uses BlinkID technology, which was developed at the domestic company MicroBlink. According to Mišulić, thanks to this technology they shortened the check-in process within the eVisitor system from a few minutes per guest to only a few seconds. “It is our desire to create an internationally accepted ‘software as a service’ product in the tourism segment and thus make our country more recognizable regarding the application of technology in tourism. So far, we have an average annual income of 4,000 kuna per user, and this year we have recorded a monthly growth of 26 percent”, said Mišulić. The people at Relio, as they said themselves, “have experience in renting private properties and understand the needs and differences from large hotels”.
