A promotion of technology, with one Croatian company in mind.
All so often we hear endless stories about how Croatia is impossible to live in and earn decent money in, let alone succeed at starting a business or a company, owing to the truly ridiculous red-tape put in place by the state.
While that is true, and the country’s membership of the European Union allows many to jump on buses or planes to Western European countries such as the UK, Ireland and Germany in the hope of being met with an easier life, not everyone is so quick to pack their bags.
We’ve written a few things about the Include startup project from Solin in the past, with Ivan Mrvoš at its head, and this startup has gone from strength to strength as time has passed, now becoming the subject of CNN’s interest.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 6th of February, 2018, CNN is filming the Solin-based startup Include, as was mentioned by Ivan Mrvoš, the founder and CEO, on his Facebook profile.
Mrvoš states that CNN discovered Include following the European Parliament’s release of a list of 50 of the most innovative startups in the European Union in 2017 one month ago. Include, founded by Mrvoš, is at 24th place on the aforementioned list:
”Three days recording with the team from CNN. At the end of the month on the CNN Airport Network and on cnn.com, they’ll post a five minute clip, which is fairly long for news, and especially for one of the largest [news outlets] in the world. Their European subsidiary was given the task of making a few clips of European innovations, and as the EUTop50 startup list was just released at that time (from the pitch in the European Parliament from a month ago) – they picked us from the list. Cool.”
As Poslovni Dnevnik wrote just ten days ago, Include has so far sold one third of its annual sales plan of thousands of smart benches, generating an impressive million euro turnover in 2017.
