The project plans expansion to the regional markets as well.

The Agrokor Group has announced that its platform A007 will open for public on Sunday at midnight. Behind the A007 project is the Abrakadabra.com internet store, with which the group aims to become a major e-retailer in Southeast Europe, reports Poslovni.hr on March 31, 2016.

The Abrakadabra online store will at first offer about 100,000 items. While Konzum Klik service is focused on food products, Abracadabra will be focused solely on non-food products, such as household appliances, garden and do-it-yourself tools, computers, and other categories.

In the beginning, it will offer items from nearly one thousand brands, in cooperation with more than 200 partners. Hrvoje Kraljević, director of the A007 company that will operate Abrakadabra.com, pointed out that 40 million kuna have been invested in the project. “The plan is to expand to the Slovenian and Serbian markets as well, and then to the other markets of Southeast Europe”, Kraljević said.

Anita Lacmanović, director of operations at A007, emphasized that Agrokor has five million MultiPlusCard members in the region and it will use this potential in its expansion. It will first focus on its offer in Croatia and on creating a user experience that is better in comparison with Agrokor’s competition.

“We wanted to provide our customers with a unique online shopping experience through a wide range of brands, some of which are available for the first time to the Croatian public in this way, and through the new models of delivery such as delivery to more than 1300 Tisak kiosks and to over 50 automated package pick-up and drop-off points all around Croatia. We offer different payment models, including through credit cards with up to 12 instalments and without interest rates. We also offer a non-stop customer support”, Lacmanović said.

She added that they will feature some of the global fashion brands that have not been represented in Croatia before, as well as three Croatian brands. “For the first time, people in Croatia will be able to buy globally popular Croatian high-tech products such as Bellabeat Leaf, Rimac’s Greyp bike, and Kisha smart umbrella”, Lacmanović said.
