A Croatian company is following the latest technological trends.
Croatian company mStart has recently announced it is looking for a number of technical experts. Especially interesting is the fact that they will also need those with the specific knowledge and experience in Internet of Things and big data. This is not surprising if we take into account the growing demand for the professionals who fit such a profile. For example, it is estimated that the USA will need between 140,000 and 190,000 experts with the exceptional skills in analytics over the next two years, and another 1.5 million managers who will be able to base their decisions on big data analysis, reports Netokracija on March 15, 2016.
Contrary to popular belief, innovation does not happen by accident. It involves hard work and thinking about the future. For companies who do look ahead, this means keeping in step with the ever-growing Internet of Things (IoT) trend. The common denominator for smart and connected devices, from sensors and security cameras to home appliances, vehicles and manufacturing machinery, IoT, according to many, represents the third wave of the information revolution that will leave the unprepared on the margins.
By looking for experts in that specific field, Croatian company mStart shows not only that it is thinking about innovation, but that is also acting in that direction. mStart believes the IoT trend includes several levels. The first is “a connected consumer” or the application of a number of sensors from various portable devices such as cell phones, bracelets, cars, or household appliances such as refrigerators, thermometers, alarms and monitoring systems. The second is connected business; it is about the use of data from the network of sensors in agriculture, manufacturing industries or trade.
However, in the near future, they expect a new paradigm, a connected planet or connected everything. It can be explained as a world in which everything will be online and in the cloud, and as a result we will have at our disposal an unimaginable amount of data, which will keep growing by the moment.
Tomislav Jukić from the mStart management board said, “Data scientists and IoT specialists are the researchers of that treasure who will find patterns and make sense of that vast amount of unstructured information and come up with certain rules and conclusions.”
