As of the 1st March 2018, Break Time just released their new sailor collection of handmade nautical bracelets and spoiler alert – they’re fabulous!

Break Time Croatia is a brand that is now synonymous with nautical jewelry. As well as their upcoming expansion into Istria with a new store soon to open in Poreč (details coming soon); they have just released a new collection of gorgeous, handmade, exclusive stainless-steel boat designs.

The Porec store getting ready…

Not to brag, but my husband and I are crewing a beautiful yacht this year and we just had to get these made…

That’s right, these designs can be personally engraved which makes it an extra special gift and keepsake for holidays. We plan on giving them to our guests and I can foresee many other yacht owners wanting to do the same.

But they’re not just for yachties and the likes, any of the Break Time bracelets are a perfect little something to buy to remember your time in Croatia. Unfortunately, like many touristic destinations around the world, most markets are still filled with cheap (not made in Croatia) souvenirs. When people ask me what they should buy to take home with them, I first think to food and wine – world-class olive oil, olive wood products, cheese from Pag, vino… But in terms of a small gift for yourself or to take home for friends and family, Break Time bracelets are perfect.

I recently made a trip back to Australia and bought Break Time bracelets for all of my nieces and nephews because they are a nice reminder for them that I am across the sea, working on a yacht… They are also lightweight, which makes them easy to travel with.

So, if you are looking for something special to remember your trip to Croatia, visit Break Time Nautical; you can find their stores in Split, Dubrovnik and soon-to-be Poreč. If you aren’t coming to Croatia this year, don’t fret, you can also visit their website and make an online order.
