Gauss and Rimac Automobili are among the best.
Six Croatian companies – Gauss, Rimac Automobili, Axilis, Telum, Hangar 18 and Serengeti – have been included in this year’s Deloitte list of 50 fastest growing technology companies in Central Europe, reports Jutarnji List on October 26, 2016.
Croatian companies are mainly ranked around the middle of the list of the fastest growing technology companies. The best ranked Croatian company is Gauss at the 19th position, followed by Rimac Automobili (20), Axilis (22), Telum (23), Hangar 18 (28) and Serengeti (39).
As in previous years, the majority of Croatian companies deal with software development, one is a technology company (Rimac Automobili) and one is involved in digital marketing (Telum). Serengeti was included on the list last year as well, which only seven companies managed to do, while Axilis was last year placed in the list in the “Rising Stars” category.
“Changes among the fastest growing companies in Central Europe are more dynamic than ever before, and the average rate of revenue growth has nearly doubled compared to two years ago”, said a partner at Deloitte’s Business Consulting Department Zlatko Bazianec. The average growth rate of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Central Europe surged from 560 percent in 2015 to 1,057 percent. Average revenue growth above 1,000 percent was last time recorded in 2012.
Nine of the top ten places in the report which ranks companies according to the largest revenue growth are occupied by companies which have never before been included in the list. In total, the list contains 43 newly-listed companies, which indicates dynamism in the technology sector, said Bazianec.
This year’s list of the 50 fastest growing companies in Central Europe by revenue includes companies from 11 countries. The greatest number of companies is from Poland (17), followed by the Czech Republic (7), Croatia (6), Slovakia (5), Hungary and Romania (4), Lithuania (3), and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Serbia and Slovenia (1).
Gauss was started in 2012 as a company for development of web solutions, with several people in a small office. Today it is an agency for development of high-quality web and mobile solutions. The team consists of 75 in-house professionals, each with their own expertise in a certain field.
