What do you do when you have a problem that’s bothering you right in front of your eyes? You swoop it out of your sight, judging by the bizarre case that went down in Luka village on Pelješac.

A local resident named Boris Franušić shoved his neighbour’s car into the sea, as the vehicle was parked in his way as he was paving the embankment, reports Jutarnji on August 27, 2017. The unfortunate vehicle belongs to another local, Ivan Dužević.

The 42-year-old Franušić started to pave a part of the local beach in collaboration with his brother Dario a couple of months ago. Can you guess whether he thought to obtain the official permit to go through with this project? That’s right, the municipal board wasn’t even informed.

Dužević reported the incident to the police, as not only his own property was damaged, but the whole project initiated by Franušić is taking place at protected maritime property. The competent Administrative Department for maritime affairs in Dubrovnik-Neretva County confirmed that Franušić hasn’t applied for concession over his arbitrary construction site.
