May the 6th, 2026 – Croatia’s remarkable Orqa is set to begin producing their now famous drones across the pond in the USA.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, Orqa, the Croatian tech company specialising in the development of advanced FPV and unmanned systems, is set to take on the American market. Together with its American partner By Light Professional IT Services LLC, it is currently establishing Orqa U.S. LLC, with plans to launch the production of drones and advanced systems for the demanding American market.
The company’s headquarters will be based in Palo Alto, in the very heart of Silicon Valley, while the 17,000 square metre production facility will be located in Port Orange, Florida, according to Osijekexpress.
The facility has specialised drone assembly lines, advanced production systems, CNC machining, and the production of composite materials. The facility also has the status of an official port of entry with its own customs unit, which allows Orqa U.S. to maximise logistical speed and efficiency.

The collaboration with By Light allows us to take the technology developed in Osijek to the next level and directly respond to the needs of the most demanding market in the entire world,” stated Srđan Kovačević, co-founder and CEO of Orqa.

By establishing Orqa U.S., this Croatian tech leader is strategically responding to the requirements of new programmes of the US Department of Defence, including the prestigious “Drone Dominance” programme.
Operational operations are being ensured through an independent management team composed of American experts, while the IT infrastructure segment will use the expertise of By Light, thus guaranteeing the highest level of cyber-security. The business is fully compliant with the strictest US safety standards and regulatory requirements for unmanned aerial vehicles, guaranteeing the highest level of product reliability.
