ZAGREB, Jan 16, 2018 – Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic on Tuesday met with Ukrainian Defence Minister Stepan Poltorak for talks on the political and economic relations between the two countries and between the European Union and Ukraine, the Croatian government said in a press release.
Poltorak informed Plenkovic of his talks with Croatian Defence Minister Damir Krsticevic about security cooperation earlier today.
Plenkovic said the relations between the two countries were friendly and that stronger cooperation was possible.
As part of the working group for Croatian-Ukrainian cooperation, Croatia is sharing the experience it gained during the 1990s peaceful reintegration of its Danube River region as well as the knowledge it gained during the European Union accession process, the press release said.
