ZAGREB, April 9, 2018 – Finnish President Sauli Niinisto will pay an official visit to Croatia on 10 and 11 April, and during the first day of his stay in Zagreb on Tuesday he will be received by his host, Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, according to a press release issued by the Office of the Croatian President on Monday.
Niinisto will hold a meeting with Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, and lay a wreath in front of the monument Voice of Croatian Victims – Wall of Pain at the Mirogoj cemetery.
On Wednesday, Niinisto will travel to Split for a ceremony of opening of the Finnish honorary consulate in the second largest Croatian city.
