Grdić’s then secretary Zdeslav Ivanković and a non-commissioned officer at Grdić’s office, Denis Lukinić, were given suspended sentences, while another agency employee, Tibor Mijo Kuljanić, was acquitted.

According to the verdict, Preost stole three million kuna, Grdic 1.5 million kuna, Ivanković 182,000 kuna and Lukinić 199,000 kuna.

The defendants denied the charges from the start. Only two, Preost and Lukinić, were present at today’s hearing.
