ZAGREB, July 23, 2018 – Israeli President Reuven Rivlin will conduct a state visit to Croatia on Tuesday and Wednesday at the invitation of President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, the Croatian president’s office reported on Monday.
On Tuesday, after a meeting between the two presidents, a bilateral meeting of the official delegations of Croatia and Israel will be conducted.
Later in the day, President Rivlin will lay a wreath in front of the Voice of Croatian Victims – Wall of Pain Memorial at Mirogoj Cemetery and will meet with Prime Minister Andrej Plenković.
On the second day of his visit, Grabar-Kitarović and Rivlin will attend a meeting between representatives of Croatia’s Defence Ministry and Israeli’s military industry, and address a defence industry conference between the two countries.
That same day, President Rivlin is scheduled to meet with Parliament Speaker Gordan Jandroković.
The two presidents will also visit the Jasenovac WWII memorial centre.
