ZAGREB, October 20, 2018 – President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović visited on Saturday the 12th International Prosciutto Fair in Tinjan, Istria County, as well as the nearby community of Motovun, where she opened the 9th festival of Teranno wine and truffles.
The Motovun festival brought together numerous producers of Teranno and other products made from that wine as well as people making truffle products.
The 12th International Proscuitto Fair, which opened on Friday, brought together prosciutto producers from Croatia, Italy, Spain, Slovenia, Austria, Hungary and Serbia.
The president said that autochthonous products were increasingly in demand on the domestic and foreign markets alike.
