Several Ferry Services Cancelled Due to Strong Wind

Total Croatia News

Multiple ferry and catamaran services were interrupted by windy weather conditions

The first week of spring flew by, and yet, it doesn’t seem we’ll be looking at some stable weather any time soon. The Adriatic coast is currently experiencing extreme bouts of southern jugo wind: 108 km/h were recorded at the weather station on Marjan, 86 km/h on Hvar island, and 83 km/h in Dubrovnik, reports Morski on March 31, 2018.

Due to the adverse weather conditions, numerous shipping services have been cancelled for the day. In case you’ve been planning to do some island-hopping on Easter weekend, make sure to visit Jadrolinija’s website to check whether your line of choice is still in operation.

Here’s a list of services cancelled so far:

Ferry lines
Dubrovnik – Lopud – Suđurađ
Sućuraj – Drvenik
Sumartin – Makarska
