The popular young singer from Rijeka is set to take on a big role in the upcoming film about General Ante Gotovina.
As 24sata reported on the 29th of June, 2017, the 14 year old songstress is set to take on the role of Anica, the little sister of now retired Croatian General Ante Gotovina. This will be the talented young Mia’s first film role, of which she is very proud.
”I hope I do well because I’ve not been in a movie yet” says the talented yet modest singer, who has earned huge respect overseas in the United States as well as here at home in Croatia.
“I’ll spend summer with friends and my parents. Most of the time I’ll be at home in Rijeka, and with my mum and dad I’ll go on the boat” says Negovetic, before adding that she has performances lined up, but plans to rest.
“Singing does not really tire me and I do not really see it as work, but more like something nice I can give people who like to listen to me,” says Mia. Besides singing, she trains in gymnastics and loves to dance, she is also planning on expanding her wide range of talent even more and is working on improving her piano and guitar skills.
The premiere of the film on the life and the war story of heroic Homeland War hero Ante Gotovina, who returned to Croatia back in 2012, is set for 2018.
