Čilić’s first match will be on Monday, 14 November from 21h against Murray

The premier Croatian tennis player Marin Čilić is gearing up to compete at the ATP Masters Final in London from 13 to 20 November, where he will play in the “John McEnroe” group with new premier world player, British Andy Murray, Swiss Stan Wavrinka and Japanese Kei Nishikori, the draw decided on Monday.

Čilić’s first match will be on Monday, 14 November from 21h against Murray. They met on the court 14 times so far, with an 11-3 record in favour of Murray. Against Wavrinka the Međugorje native has won 2 out of 12 matches and versus Nishikori 5 out of 12.

In the “Ivan Lendl” group will be Serbian Novak Đoković, Canadian Miloš Raonić, French Gael Monfils and Austrian Dominic Thiem.

Competing at the Masters in couples will be another Croatian player, Ivan Dodig. In his final tournament with Brazilian Marcelo Melo he is grouped with American twins Bob and Mike Bryan, British Jamie Murray and Brazilian Bruno Soares, as well as Filipino Treat Hiey and Belarus Maks Mirnji. The first match of Dodig and Melo will be on Sunday, 13 November versus the Bryan brothers.

In the second group are French Pierre-Hughes Herbert and Nicolas Mahut, Spanish Feliciano and Marc Lopez, Finnish Henri Kontinen and Australian John Peers, as well as South African Raven Klaasen and American Rajeev Ram.
