Croatian Basketball Team Loses To Nigeria

Nigeria beat Croatia 90-76, and now there are many possible outcomes for the final classification after the group stage

The Croatian basketball team was considered the favorite for the win in the match versus Nigerian team played on August 13. 2016. Unfortunately, the approach to the game was not good enough for the Croats, and Nigeria won.

The statistics show the problem for the Croatian team: Nigeria had 45 rebounds, while Croats had 34. Also, the outsiders scored 17 three-pointers, just too many to consider the Croatian defensive play tight enough to get the win.

In the last game of the group stage, Croatia will meet Lithuania, and one fact in Croatia’s favour is that the match is scheduled as the last one, so all outcomes will be known, as there is a possibility that Croatia could go through even if they lose that match.

The match is scheduled for Monday late evening.
