Two top teams won 1-0, all the others did not score a single goal in the round 31 of CFL
It was a round of the Croatian Football League we’ll all forget soon. Only two goals in five matches, one of those two from the penalty kick. Although the weather was perfect to attend the football matches all over Croatia, the most crowded venue was in Koprivnica on April 17, 2016, and it is to be thanked to the away supporters from Split.
Just over 2000 fans attended the match between Slaven Belupo and Hajduk, and 4124 is the total attendance on all the other games combined during this weekend. Those not attending the games did not miss much, as only two goals were to be seen in five matches. Split and Inter, Istra and Osijek, Slaven Belupo and Hajduk, all left the pitches after the scoreless draws.
Dinamo won against Zagreb in what was a more challenging game than expected, and Rijeka won against Lokomotiva and was once again furious about the refereeing of the match.
Hajduk was once again denied a clear penalty, Rijeka had some officials sent off, and Dinamo was deservedly awarded a penalty kick. So, nothing is new in Croatian Football League.
