Dinamo joins the Pro Soccer Evolution team.
Dinamo Zagreb has received some important news at the beginning of this year. The football club from Zagreb has been included in one of the most popular football games in the world – Pro Evolution Soccer, reports Vecernji List on January 13, 2016.
The year in which Dinamo won the Croatian championship without a single defeat, won the Croatian Football Cup and played in the group phase of the UEFA Champions League certainly had an influence on the decision by the manufacturer of PES. The best Croatian club will be the only officially licensed team from Croatia.
With nearly 100 million copies sold during the last 20 years, Pro Evolution Soccer is one of the most popular series of football games. The best proof of its popularity is the fact that last year’s edition of the video game sold three million copies in the first three months after release.
“For this reason, Dinamo Zagreb is extremely proud of the fact that we have made an agreement with Konami, the publisher of PES, to become the only Croatian club which will be officially licensed in this year’s edition of the popular video game and the only Croatian football team with this level of presence in recent years. With this deal, Dinamo has listened to the wishes and requests of fans who demanded to have the best Croatian team included in PES and we hope that all fans will from now on enjoy playing Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 even more”, says a statement published by the club on Facebook.
Dinamo Zagreb will be added to PES 2016 in the first upcoming update of the game. In collaboration with Konami, Dinamo has prepared a surprise for its fans – a chance to win eight signed copies of PES 2016 on the official Facebook page of the club. In addition to Dinamo, the only other team from the region in PES is Partizan Belgrade, which was added during the update of the game in October.
