Europa League Qualifiers Slovan Liberec – Hajduk 1:0

New chance in one week in Split

Even though they were cheered by over 800 Torcida members and despite a fantastic game opening when Ohadze missed a 100% chance in the first minute, Hajduk was defeated in the Czech Republic. Slovan Liberec scored in the 79th minute and Pokorny’s goal was enough for the Czech team to come away from the match with an advantage before the second leg which will be played in Split in a week.

Goalkeeper Kalinić saved Hajduk from an even higher defeat, but with the home pitch advantage in a week and with Torcida as their additional player, all is not lost and Hajduk still has a good chance of making it through the last round of Europa League qualifications and into the main tournament.
