Hvar Hvar Marathon 2015: Runners from 40 Countries, Winner from Morrocco

It is only in its fifth year, but the Hvar Half Marathon is proving to be a successful and increasingly popular addition to the Hvar tourism calendar. 

This year’s event was the largest, with runners from an astonishing country. The 21km run, starting from Stari Grad and climbing up the steep old road to Hvar Town, is a challenging run, and also surely one of the most beautiful in all Europe, before it descends to the finishing line on the biggest square in all Europe. This year’ winner was from Morrocco.
