Here is the schedule for Croatian athletes on August 9. 2016, at the Olympics:
15.00 Judo
Barbara Matić will start her competition and in the first round of the – 70 kg category of the Olympic judo tournament, she will meet Puerto Rican Maria Perez.
18.05. Sailing
Tonči Stipanović holds the second position in the overall ranking of the Laser discipline after the first four races, and today, he will race two more, just as will his colleague Tina Mihelić in Laser Radial (eighth position in overall ranking). Ivan Kljaković Gašpić holds the fifth position in Finn, as he will race the third and fourth race today. Luka Mratović in the surfboard races three times a day and is currently in the 18th place.
18.15 Boxing
Hrvoje Sep will battle with Brazilian Michel Borges in the second round of the light heavyweight category of Olympic boxing tournament.
21.45. Tennis
Marin Čilić will play against French Gael Monfils in the third round of the Olympic tennis tournament.
01.50 (Thursday) Water Polo
Croatian water polo team will meet Spain in the third round match of the Olympic tournament. The Barracudas are holding the first position in their group and plan to remain there.
